After weeks of anticipation, a winner has finally been chosen for the Hot 103 Jamz Mile High Flyaway Contest!

The rules were simple: five times a day Kansas City based radio station Hot 103 Jamz played a message from Tech N9ne urging people to call in.

The 25th caller at each designated time was then entered into a drawing to win a trip for two to Denver to see Tech perform alongside Kendrick Lamar, Juicy J, and more at KS 107.5’s Summer Jam concert, and Bridget Treas was that lucky winner!

Bridget and her friend will be flying to Denver to see Tech perform on June 6th. We talked to Bridget shortly after she discovered she was the winner, and she had this to say:

When my best friend and I were calling in, we thought it was just for a CD and honestly we didn’t really think much about it. I’m so happy to win though because I haven’t won much in my life [laughs]. I wasn’t even listening to the radio when they announced the winner so they called me this morning and I’m so surprised and so excited that me and my friend are heading out to Denver. It’s a pretty big deal to us!

Turns out Bridget isn’t just a random radio listener winning this exciting trip. She’s a long time Technician and has the ink to prove it! This isn’t her first Tech show either, as she told us that she and her friend have been to every Tech N9ne show in KC for the past 4-5 years.
