Over 15 years in the game and yet every day new people are learning how ahead of his time Tech N9ne has been throughout his career.

In a recent interview with OMNI TV, Tech N9ne elaborated on his collaboration with Roger Troutman on “Twisted” from Anghellic, one of Troutman’s last collaborations before his death in 1999.

Also covered in the interview was Tech’s guerilla marketing campaign on Absolute Power in which Tech put the album up for free download and appeared in commercials promoting the download of the album, a tactic that was not considered viable until many years after he first utilized it.

Tech went on to explain the success behind the Something Else standout “Fragile” and how he chose Kendrick Lamar to accompany him on the track.
