Tech N9ne on some Havoc production? Hip hop prays and waits.

According to Tech N9ne, in an interview with Ambrosia For Heads, he was just sent a beat from Mobb Deep’s producer Havoc for an upcoming record from Queensbridge hip hop legends Mobb Deep. Havoc is known for producing grimey, east-coast classics such as “Shook Ones Pt. II”, “Quiet Storm”, and “Survival of the Fittest”. We can only imagine what Tech would sound like over a Havoc banger.

Let Tech tell it:

Every once in a while, I like to just rap. Like, Havoc just sent me [some] Mobb Deep [for a feature]. I get to rap! I love it. [DJ] Kay Slay just sent me one. I did one for him, and I got to rap. I love it. You know what I’m sizzlin’? I’m not saying that to say I don’t like to chop. I do, it’s just very hard to write. But I’m very good at it. I’m from the Midwest, and that’s what we do.
