It has been some time since we have heard from JL, but that hiatus is near its end.

As you may have noticed on social media, JL recently ventured down to Miami to catch up with his friends in ¡MAYDAY!. The trip consisted of more than just the beach and beautiful Miami weather, for JL spent a good chunk of his time recording over at ¡MAYDAY!’s studio. During his visit, the Strange Music label-mates were able to knock out 5 tracks, according to Bernz’s Instagram.

Thanks to Wrekonize’s Instagram, we even got a short preview of the work knocked out during JL’s visit – and it sounds dope!

Spent all week producing music for this guys album. Did some really amazing music, about 5 tracks… and i think we got 2 REALLY good 1’s in the can…It feels so good and makes me proud to have ppl come to our house looking for inspiration and creative direction…This is why i got into music, to collaborate and to solve the great puzzles of life with my best friends by my side.
