Strange Music and the Bay area have always had a special relationship. Furthering the bond on the newest release from Tech N9ne Peresents JL: DIBKIS, JL links up with Nef The Pharaoh for the anthem “Out Da Hood.”

With a whurring, snapping beat from Disko Boogie and Nef’s swagger-drenched guest verse, the effort might have Bay influences, but JL reps KC to the fullest; announcing his arrival by showcasing how far he’s already come.

Trading in the aggressive, unrelenting approach found on “Strange The World” for a more slowed down, strutting flow–yet still as crisp as ever–JL takes the celebratory anthem to the next level.
