20-N9ne-Teen: Strange Music Artist Resolutions

Jan 3 2019

With the new year upon us, and our hangovers finally gone it’s time to set our sights on 2019. Whether it’s hitting the gym, saving a few bucks, or getting more sleep resolutions are an important part of starting the year off right.

That goes for rappers too!

In celebration of a new year (full of new music) we asked a few of the Snake & Bat artists for their New Year’s resolutions and goals for 2019 to help get 2019 started off right.

Joey Cool

“In the new year, I want my right hand to always be stretched out in friendship, never in want. Also, to remain humble and to continue working like it’s my first day on the job. The best revenge is massive success.”

Krizz Kaliko

“2019 is the year of Kali. I met Tech and Trav 20 years ago did my first show with Tech at the end of 2000 and first tour in 2001. We’re still KICKIN ass and this is the year of Kali. #yearofkali”

Wrekonize

“I had a really tough 2018 with the birth of my twin sons. I had all these plans to release more solo music and I completely got swept off my feet by the responsibility of keeping two little humans alive. Luckily with the help of my brothers, I stayed in the game by contributing to one of my favorite ¡MAYDAY! albums to date. In 2019, my resolution is to execute the plan I had last year. You’ll see soon enough as my resolution kicks in for the first #WrekWednesdays of the year.”

JL

“More videos, more freestyles, less anything that doesn’t add to the joy of life.”

Stevie Stone

“To Get Better! A better Businessman, Artist, Father, Husband. Get better in every aspect. Take my career by the horns and steer it!”

Mackenzie Nicole

“Stay alive by any means necessary”

Prozak

“To bring the evolution of all my careers into existing”

UBI

In 2019 I’m holding myself responsible and accountable for all my failures and successes. Sole controller!!

Tech N9ne

“For the new year I’ll zero in on all things positive instead of all things negative like I used to and promise to kill everything moving lyrically for the remainder of my musical career! L9ve, N9NA!”
