On December 7th, Tech N9ne, Krizz Kaliko, Kutt Calhoun, and Rittz will be giving you The Gift Of Rap 2012 at the Independence Events Center. These incredible Strange Music acts aren’t the only gifts, however. California’s own E-40 has been confirmed as a special guest!
Not only is E-40 a Bay Area legend, he is also a long-time Strange Music collaborator. Forty Water made his very first venture into Strangeland when he joined forces with Tech N9ne on Everready: The Religion to give us “Jellysickle”, and later made appearances on projects from Strange artists such as Krizz Kaliko, Big Scoob, and Kutt Calhoun. He has also brought Strange Music acts into his own world multiple times to collaborate.
Tracks like “Zombie” which featured Tech N9ne and Brotha Lynch Hung, and “Streets Keep Callin’ My Name” which included Krizz Kaliko may ring a bell. Even if you’re not familiar with E-40’s extensive music catalog, you could definitely recognize the sound of this Strangeland regular’s voice.
So, not only will you have the opportunity to donate to charities such as the Love Fund For Children and Harvesters Community Food Network by attending The Gift Of Rap 2012, you will also be getting much more than the average Tech N9ne show.
With a rap legend like E-40 joining forces with Strange Music’s elite artists, this show is a must for Strangers and hip-hop heads everywhere!
