Something Else is an emotionally and sonically ambitious album unlike anything that Strange Music has released. Tech N9ne wears his secrets on his sleeve on “I’m Not A Saint” and flips a middle finger to critics on the very next song with “Fragile”. The show-out rhymes of “So Dope” are closely followed by “Burn The World”, a song where Tech N9ne offers a cry for hope in the face of unexplainable tragedies. To end the album is one of the most bold mash ups in hip hop history, “Strange Days” with The Doors. By the end of the album you truly have been taken on a journey that is unlike anything you’ve ever heard.
