For anyone who questioned his faith, Tech N9ne sets the record straight with his verse on Stevie Stone’s “The Baptism” from 2 Birds 1 Stone.

Stevie Stone recently spoke to HipHopDX about the new album, what it’s like to balance personal time and being a nationwide touring artist and how he’s grown to where he was to where he’s at today. The interview ends on a very significant note by hitting on the epic track “Baptism” from 2 Birds 1 Stone, in which Stevie Stone, Rittz and Tech N9ne address their faith on wax over an ominous, trap-like production. Stevie Stone addresses Tech N9ne’s verse, in which he makes it know who’s side he’s on when it comes to God vs. The Devil:

I think Tech came in, and what he did was so beautiful. Anybody that has any doubts about his spiritual beliefs—‘cause you know they always talk about that with Tech—will get the truth. He set the record straight more so than I’ve ever heard him. Before I did my first show, and before I even signed with Tech, I was a fan. And I’ve never heard a record where he said, “Jesus, I am your servant.” He ended it like that, and that was just beautiful. That’s what “The Baptism” was about, and I think it’s gonna be a fan favorite.
