Wanna rap fast like Tech N9ne? Hint: it’s going to take some practice, but luckily this video shares a little insight in how you should be going about it.

In this interview from Pop Culture Madness, Tech N9ne shares his insight into what it takes for him to rap so fast and clear like he does. While his consonants are always sharp (even when he pulls the quadruple-time flow), Tech N9ne does not push off hard from the roof of his mouth, but rather keeps his tongue loose. With warm up excercises, he’s able to accomplish this in the booth and on the stage. The rap game hasn’t been the same since.

Tech N9ne also talks about his work ethic, how technology affects his writing process and what it means for “Fragile” to be having such success on the radio.

Tech also lets out the little tidbit that he’s interested in following up his Therapy EP with an entire album produced by legendary rock producer Ross Robinson. No big deal.
