With sports fans all around the world tuned into Game 2 of the World Series, one question lingered in the minds of viewers everywhere- who is that guy with the Strange Music shirt behind home plate???
The answer: Strange Music CEO Travis O’Guin.
After taking in Game 1 with Tech N9ne and Krizz Kaliko, life-long Royals fan Travis O’Guin returned to Kauffman Stadium on Wednesday night to watch his home team rally back with a 7-2 win to tie the series with the San Francisco Giants. Seizing the opportunity, Travis could be seen wearing a white tee emblazoned with the Strange Music logo on national television.
It wasn’t long before viewers everywhere took notice and made Travis’ shirt the true star of the game. Between curiosity and praise, #StrangeMusic became a national trend on Twitter by the middle of the game.
Now that everyone weighed in on the marketing genius of placing Strange Music front and center for three hours, we wonder what Google has to say.
