‘Otha Fish’ marks as the debut visual from MURS and 9th Wonder’s joint album Brighter Daze.

Set amidst the lovely California shore, MURS lays it down in this West Coast hip hop homage, reciting verse for verse from the vintage Pharcyde single in this smooth remake. 9th Wonder’s instrumental and MURS’s delivery lend a somber tone to the West Coast classic, a song about unreturned affection that fits MURS’s catalog like a glove. Seeing as MURS is one of the greatest rappers of all time when it comes to rapping about matters of the heart, it only makes sense that he would choose this as a song to remake word for word.
