On the topic of her debut album The Edge, Mackenzie Nicole said,
“I tend to gravitate towards the darker and grimier side of things. The Edge is a glimpse into that. This is me in every way on the record.”

Nowhere is the darkness more visible than on “Welcome To My Darkside,” an ominous track, which, with its orchestral feel, gives the album that classic Strange feel.

Just two weeks out from the release of The Edge, Mackenzie is giving fans a snippet with a mini-music video reflecting the dichotomous appeal of the cut’s lyrics and energy.
