Tech N9ne’s latest installment of the “Collabos” series, The Gates Mixed Plate, includes the track, “What’s Next” featuring Craig Smith. You are probably familiar with Craig Smith from Kutt Calhoun’s latest release, Raw and Un-Kutt, and the track “In The Air” from Tech’s second “Collabos” release, Sickology 101.

Craig Smith comes from Kansas City, MO. He began his career as 1 of 4 members of The Renegades; a rap group which also consisted of Greg Enemy, Chief Wakil, and Young Storm. Smith eventually moved on from the group to pursue a solo career in music. He has shared the stage with such acts as Krizz Kaliko, Dem Franchise Boyz, and Sammie. The always clever lyrics and grand style production landed him a spot on Tech N9ne’s Sickology 101 in 2009. The future holds great things for Smith as he preps for an album release and multiple mixtape and EP projects.

The Gates Mixed Plate, Tech N9ne’s latest release, features the singles “O.G.”, and “Jumpin’ Jax”. Tech’s third release in a series of collaborative studio projects coined “Collabos”, features Devin The Dude, Glasses Malone, Jay Rock, Yukmouth and many others. The Gates Mixed Plate is available in stores now.
