Bred in the middle of the land, Tech N9ne embodies the melting pot that is the Midwest. As the Kansas City King prepares to tour Canada this fall, fans are finding out just what it is that makes him such a KLUSTERFUK of an artist.
In anticipation of his arrival at Club 9One9 in Victoria, BC, Martlet caught up with Tech N9ne for an exclusive interview regarding the mass appeal of his music and how religion shaped his creativity:
When you get the first teachings of the Bible or anything, a lot of that shit is scary. It’s wicked. About Revelations and everything, [my family] going to church and seeing people catch the so-called ‘Holy Ghost.’ I think that’s wicked off the top, and that wickedness spread over to me from religion and it just turned me into this clusterfuck. I love it.
Tech also went on to speak on the difficulties of his delivery and insists that it’s only a matter of time before the rest of the world is infected by his music, Canada included.
