Some argue that the commercials are the best aspect of the Super Bowl. If you watched the Super Bowl anywhere in the greater Kansas City area, you got to hear Tech N9ne’s voice in the latest ad from Sporting Kansas City.

Tech is no stranger in supporting his local teams, and when it comes to representing his hometown, no one does it better. He regularly attends Royals, Chiefs, and Sporting KC matches, wrote an anthem for the Kansas City Royals, and has performed before numerous sporting events in Kansas City. In The Kansas City Star‘s write up, The King of Kansas City had this to say about being asked to narrate an ad for Sporting KC:

“You know I gotta support my hometown teams,” Tech N9ne said. “Everyone’s been showing major love since we dropped my song ‘KCMO Anthem’ after the Royals won the World Series. When I heard Sporting KC wanted to include me in their Super Bowl ad, I was like ‘Hell, yeah!’ You know I’m always gonna rep my city.”
