Finding an equilibrium between your work life and personal life can be a lot of pressure for a young, aspiring artist.

Mackenzie Nicole, the 16-year-old star that came out with one of the biggest tracks on Strangeulation Vol. II, balances her home and school life with her singing career. Fox 4 KC spoke with her about the pressure of being a recording artist while also juggling the life of a student in high school.

However difficult the task may be, she gains support from her parents, who encourage her to give her all and work hard to rise to the top. She speaks about how this influences her work ethic and the push to do what she can.

“…That’s the pressure I get, to put in my best and do exceptionally well to the best of my ability.”
