It’s always interesting to find out what songs have influenced the artists we listen to.
In a recent sit-down with Fuse, Rittz let us in on which track was the most life-changing for him and his career, which turns out to be Eminem’s “My Name Is”. The track was a smash hit across the board, but for white rappers aspiring to see the same success that Eminem has seen, the track meant something even more:
When that came out, it was like, “Hey, guess what, dude? You’re not as good as [Eminem]. Back to the drawing board!” That song changed my life. Thanks a lot for pushing all of us white rappers back ten years (laughs).
