Things continue to get a little strange in Hollywood as Ashton Kutcher is now catching the attention of Tech N9ne fans on Twitter. The actor, best known for his role as Kelso on That 70’s Show, recently stirred fans when he changed his Twitter profile picture to an image of him donning a red clown nose. Kutcher’s unexpected photo comes just days after Charlie Sheen met Tech N9ne and shouted out the Kansas City King to his nearly 5 million followers on Twitter. The rivalry between the two actors is well documented, and can only beg the question: Is Ashton making a reference to Tech N9ne’s “Red Nose”? Is this a publicity stunt to appeal to the thousands of Technicians who now follow Charlie Sheen?
The rivalry between the two stems from the sitcom, Two And A Half Men. The former star of the show, Charlie Sheen found himself fired from the cast when he publicly criticized the show’s creator. Soon after, it was announced that Ashton Kutcher would be replacing the former lead, and that the series would continue. Things heated up when Charlie Sheen once again took to the media to fire off on the show and Ashton:
“Ashton Kutcher is a sweetheart and a brilliant comedic performer. Oh wait, so am I!!” the actor griped Friday. “Enjoy the show America, Enjoy seeing 2.0 in the demo every Monday, WB. Enjoy planet Chuck, Ashton. There is no air, laughter, loyalty, or love there.”
Despite Charlie Sheen’s sarcastic remarks, Ashton Kutcher has remained silent…until now. Could this new photo be a shot at Charlie Sheen and his meeting with Tech N9ne? Or is it Kutcher’s attempt at rallying Technicians to his side in a mere attempt to spite Charlie Sheen? Tech N9ne’s “Red Nose” has grown to be one of his biggest hits, and with Kutcher’s latest stunt, it could very well be song that Ashton Kutcher himself is now using to target Tech N9ne fans. Do you think Ashton Kutcher really knows what Tech N9ne meant by “Red Nose”? Is it disrespectful of him to use against Charlie Sheen?
