Eminem And Brotha Lynch Hung

Is one of hip hop’s most influential icons inspired by one of the deadliest lyricists in the game?

With Mannibalector stirring a buzz all over the web, HipHopDX sat down with Brotha Lynch Hung to ask him about the album. Lynch discussed the monumental album as well as many other things, one of them being hip hop’s great white hope himself, Eminem.

As it turns out, Eminem is reportedly very influenced by the cannibalyricist. When asked if he’s ever heard of Eminem being influenced by his music, Lynch responded:

People say it, but that’s not good enough for me. I ain’t sayin’ he gotta run up on me and say it or anything, but I would like to hear that he did. I’ve ran into his peers—I’ve ran into Royce Da 5’9, and he loves my music and knew about me. Snoop [Dogg] has said that Eminem was inspired by me. But when I meet him one day and maybe hear it, that’s when I’ll believe it.

2PacOn top of that, Lynch also talks about his chance meeting with another icon, none other than Tupac Shakur. California’s close-knit hip hop community brought the two together as they were able to kick it over lunch during Pac’s Digital Underground days.
