¡MAYDAY!’s fan-favorite gets a new look with the “Shortcuts And Dead Ends” remix from Besnine.

Besnine is no stranger to putting a dope spin on Strange Music classics (you may remember his remix of Tech N9ne’s “Fragile”). This time around he puts a very dramatic spin on an already-dramatic cut, “Shortcuts and Dead Ends”, resulting in a supremely DOPE remix with a plethora of musical influences (house, dubstep, disco).

The Parisian DJ gives an explanation to his remix on his Soundcloud:

“I started to work on this remix when I arrived in Las Vegas. The atmosphere was strange, kinda paradoxal, very joyful and deeply sad and tormented at the same time, and I felt the same about the lyrics and the melody of this track. So I tried to be inspired by what was surrouding me and I think we can feel it in this remix.”
