When discussing diversity in hip-hop in a recent interview with The Breakfast Club, the New York mainstays mentioned Tech N9ne. They praised Tech for blazing his own trail with his unique style and selling out show after show despite not having the support of radio. He even gives a subtle shoutout to the Strange fans. To see Fat Joe and Remy Ma, two established, chart topping artists honor Tech just goes to show that, while the radio may not give Tech the respect he deserves, those who make the music on the radio certainly do. Being independent, and still building a machine that even the biggest artists in the game marvel at is a testament to you, the fans.
