Chalk up another bad ass look for Kansas City as Tech N9ne graces the cover of this week’s The Pitch.

The Kansas City publication took the opportunity to put the king of the city on the front and publish a two page interview in which Tech talks about the Strange Music empire, where his music comes from and the current Therapy EP.

As it turns out, the Therapy EP contains some of Tech N9ne’s most personal material to date, as he explains “Shame On Me”:

“That’s the story of the first time I got my heart broken to the point where I couldn’t walk,” Tech says. “I maybe shouldn’t have told that story because I had to call that person and be like, ‘Hey, I’ve got this thing coming out, and I kind of told this story, and I hope you’re OK with that.’I have to do that because I talk about my life, and people are involved. My music is so serious.”
